Gretchen Zech, SPHR, GPHR
Senior Vice President, Human Resources

Gretchen Zech joined R.H. Donnelley in June 2006. She is responsible for strategic management and direction of all human resources and labor relations functions for the company.

Before coming to R.H. Donnelley, Gretchen was group vice president, human resources, for Gartner, Inc., a global information technology research and consulting firm, where she was responsible for managing company human resources efforts. Earlier in her career, she held various senior leadership roles in human resources with The Great Atlantic and Pacific Tea Company, Bloomingdale’s, and Best Buy.

Zech holds a degree from The University of Michigan, as well as executive education program certifications in negotiation and labor relations from Harvard University and The University of Michigan, respectively. She is credentialed as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and a Global Professional in Human Resources (GPHR).
